Vintage Madonna

This design has a vintage distressed look about it, and is suitable for many different occasions.  The script background panel is created by putting a piece of white card in an embossing folder and through a machine.  The edges of the panel are torn and inked with distress ink to give it an aged look.  The embossed script is also gently inked.  The focal panel is another piece of white card stamped with an image in the distress ink.  Then the whole panel is covered with clear pigment ink and heat embossed with two coats of clear powder, giving a glazed look.  Both pieces of artwork are matted onto black card.  The white base card is stamped with a swirl in the distress ink, the background panel attached then the focal panel offset and attached with dimensional glue.  A tag shape is punched out, stamped with some text and edged with distress ink as before.  A word or greeting is stamped onto a strip of vellum and heat embossed with clear powder.  A punched leaf, a ribbon and the vellum are added to the tag which is then attached to the card.
