This simple design is what I call a 'worker' card, as it is suitable for various occasions and for men or women. The focal panel is dark pearlescent card onto which is stamped a humming bird image in clear pigment ink, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The ink gives a watermark effect which is glazed by the powder. A cherry blossom image is added in the same way. The moons/suns and the flowers are coloured using interferance paint, which means they will change colour as the card is moved. The panel is matted onto gold mirror card. The base card is the same card as the panel, and is stamped down both sides with a cherry blossom border stamp in Brilliance ink, and a greeting added. Then the card is assembled.
