Butterfly Sunset

This lovely card is inspired by a design by Sheena Douglass using shadow stamping and disress inks.  The base card is a pale 'linen texture' cardstock.  A large decorative corner image has been stamped and heat embossed in gold at opposite corners of the card.  The background panel is white card and three colours of distress ink are blended on to it to create a sunset effect.  Wild meadow flowers are stamped in black over the top, using first and second generation ink, to create a meadow scene.  A greeting is stamped onto the panel and heat embossed in gold powder, then the panel is edged in gold Krylon pen.  The panel is matted on to black card and attached to the base card.  A large butterfly image is stamped and heat embossed on to acetate and cut out.  The butterfly is placed face down and glitter is applied to the acetate.  When dry the butterfly is applied to the card in the corner, drawing the eye into the card.
