Purple Haze.

This design uses a mix of different mediums to colour and enhance.  The base card is a white shaped card that has been coloured with two complimentary tones of lilac and purple Brilliance ink.  To add extra 'bling' to the background the card was spritzed with a dark purple glimmer mist.  When dry, opposite corners are stamped and heat embossed in silver powder to add interest.  The main focal panel is created from pearlescent card that has been embossed in a machine, the central panel is cut out and the panel mounted onto mirror card which shows through the apperture.  A slim ribbon and bow is attached.  Some vellum is coloured with lilac Brilliance ink, then butterflies are stamped, heat embossed, and cut out.  They are then glittered.  The panel is attached to the base card and a greeting is added.  When dry the butterflies are added to the centre of the card by the body as before.
