Cute Fairy

This design is perfect for any little girl who loves fairies.  The background panel is created by putting a piece of pink card through an embossing machine in a folder.  The square in the centre is cut out leaving an apperture.  Some glitter is added to the butterflies, flowers and the edge of the aperture.  The base card is centura pearl that is stamped and heat embossed with butterflies, script and tiny fairies around the edge in two colours of Brilliance ink using clear embossing powder.  An image of a fairy is stamped and heat embossed onto white card.  Pro markers are used to colour the image and glitter is added to the wings and antennae, then the fairy is cut out.  A circle is cut out of acetate and glitter added around the edge.  When all the glittered pieces are dry the fairy is attached to the acetate disc.  One end of a strip of acetate is attached to the disc behind the fairy, the other end is folded and tucked behind the background and secured.  This enables the fairy to wobble and move as if flying.  The panel is matted and layered onto the base card and a greeting is added as a finishing touch.
