This is a lovely design for a summer occasion. The background is created by embossing a piece of coloured card in a machine, then distressing the edges with distress ink in a co-ordinating colour. A couple of 3D flowers have been made out of die cut and paper punch shapes in two contrasting colours. Some of the shapes were cut from patterned paper, the others from the same coloured card as the background, then stamped with text. The edges of the petals have been tinted with the distress ink. A tag has been punched out of the same card as the base card is from. It has been stamped with the text and with a swirl stamp. The edges have been distressed with ink and two pieces of co-ordinating ribbon threaded through the top. A strip of the patterned paper is wrapped around the tag and the card is assembled.
