Flower Fairy

Another pretty tag design using several techniques, including silhouette stamping, faux bleaching and embossing.  The background panel has been edged with distress inks after being put through an embossing machine. The same card is used to make a tag.  Several colours of distress ink are blended on the card, then an image of a fairy is stamped in the centre. The inks under the image are taken off with a brush, water and kitchen towel.   The fairy's hair can be left inked or coloured afterwards.  Her dress and wings are glittered.  Some flowers are stamped in black(silhouette) at the bottom of the tag using first and second generation ink, and trailing vines are stamped at the top.  Some dots of glitter are added as 'magic dust'.  A length of ribbon is threaded through the top of the tag, then both the background panel and the tag are matted onto dark card to make them 'pop'.  A couple of floral images are stamped, heat embossed and glittered, then cut out.  The base card is decorated with a swirl image and the card is assembled.
