Purple Gothic Baroque

Hello and welcome to my blog  :)  I have another sample from the Chocolate Baroque tv shows in January to share with you today.  This one features stamps from the Medici Flower, Gothic Fragments, and Tangled Butterfly sets; Distress Oxide inks, alcohol pens, grey Versafine ink, black sand texture paste, white charcoal, gold Liquid Pearls, white gel pen, gold pen, a stencil and a die from my stash.

I stamped the Medici Flower onto Neena Solar card in grey ink and coloured the image with alcohol pens, adding a shadow line around the flower.   I die cut the image into circle, added ink through the die as a stencil, then added gold pen around the outer edge of the circle.

Next I took a piece of white card and blended DO inks all over it.  When they were dry I stamped images of Latin writing and a gothic window randomly over the panel.  I faux bleached parts of the windows, then added white charcoal as highlights.

I took a white base card and added some black sand texture paste through a brickwork stencil.  I wanted to give the effect of an old building to compliment the Gothic images on the background panel.  When the paste was dry I blended ink around the edges of the card.  I then used a gold pen around the edges of the background panel  and matted it onto black card.  I attached the panel to the base card with dimensional glue.  I then attached the circle panel to that in the same way.

I stamped a sentiment on a  spare piece of the background card, edged the card with gold pen and attached it with dimensional glue.  I then added some more texture with Liquid Pearls in gold.

This lovely card is quite distinctive and very versatile.  I think it would make a great card for lots of occasions, and for any recipient.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope you've enjoyed reading this post and that you will pop by again soon  :)

  2. I just love the uniqueness of each card you create. The yellow and light purple goes so well together with the gothic window and the writing. So pretty
