Blingy Blue Roses

Hello there and welcome to my blog  :)   I have finally got around to blogging the last of my Chocolate Baroque samples from the beginning of this year Yaay!!  :)  These lovely stamps were featured in the debut show on Hochanda.  I have used stamps from CB sets Harlequin Rose,Rose Stem Script and Belle Flowers; pearl paint sprays, white embossing powder, gold embossing powder, gold pen.

On a piece of white card I spritzed a couple of pearl sprays and left to dry.  Next I stamped the background stamp in Versafine ink and embossed in white.  I edged the panel with a gold pen and matted it onto black card.

I stamped a rose image three times onto some more sprayed paper and embossed them in white, then cut them out.  I attached the background panel to a white base card, then attached the roses with dimensional glue.

I die cut a tag from the sprayed card and embossed a smaller rose in white onto it.  I stamped a sentiment onto acetate and embossed it in gold, cut it out and attached it to the tag.  I edged the tag with the gold pen, added Stickles in the corners and some ribbon then attached the tag to the card with dimensional glue.

I die cut some foliage from black card and added it around the roses.

I really love this card, it was one of my favourite samples for this DT call out!  I've always been a fan of ink and paint sprays, and these pearl colours are just beautiful.  I think the white embossing really makes the stamps pop too!  This is another great worker card which could be used for various occasions and for men as well as women.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope you enjoyed this post and will pop in again soon  :)
