Hello there and welcome to my blog :) Today I am sharing one of my samples for the recent Chocolate Baroque Spring inspired tv shows. The shows featured a range of beautiful Spring themed stamps, some of which I've used for this card. The stamps are from the Spring Foliage set with a sentiment from the Words to Dazzle and Sparkle set; Brushos, Distress inks, white embossing powder, Stickles.
On a piece of white card I stamped some Bluebells in black ink and masked them. I sprinkled Brushos randomly over the card, spritzed with water and let the colours run.
When the Brushos were dry I stamped some catkins down both sides of the panel and embossed them in white.
I removed the masking fluid and painted the flowers. I added some Stickles to the catkins and the Bluebells, then I blended DI around the edges. I matted the panel onto some coordinating card and added some ribbon to it.
I stamped some foliage around the edges of a white base card with DI, blended the ink around the edges then attached the focal panel to the base card.
I took some buttons from my stash and attached some gems in the centres of them, then added them to the ribbon.
I stamped a sentiment onto white card and embossed it in gold. I die cut it, added DI through the die, and edged the panel with gold pen. I attached the sentiment panel to the card.
I loved creating this card, these stamps are so easy to work with and they produce beautiful results with minimal effort! Spring is a lovely time of year when nature starts to wake up from the long Winter, and I feel this card captures it very well. This would make a great worker card for many occasions.
Thank you for visiting my blog today, I hope you have enjoyed this post and that you will pop by again soon :)
