Hi there and welcome to my blog :) I've got one of my samples from the recent Chocolate Baroque tv shows - A Taste of Russia - to share with you today. I absolutely loved working with all the stamps for this call out, and I was lucky enough to work with the FIRST EVER Chocolate Baroque masks and stencils! I have used one of the Silhouette Palaces mask and stencil set; Mini Script stamp; Glimmer Mist, black Versafine ink, gold pen; an embossing folder from my stash.
I took a piece of white card and attached the mask to it with stencil glue. I sprayed a red/gold Glimmer mist all over the card and left it to dry naturally. When I removed the mask there was still a lot of colour on it so I spritzed it with water and took a print with another piece of card, to use on another project.
I then placed the matching stencil onto the card and stamped the mini script through it using black ink. I die cut the card into an oval panel, blended gold ink around the edges and added gold pen. I then matted it onto black card.
I embossed a piece of Antique Gold pearl card in a folder from my stash and attached some ribbon with a bow along the top. I added a gem to the centre of the bow. I then attached the focal panel to the card.
I'm really pleased with this one, I love the script inside the Silhouette Palace, and I wanted to capture a sense of elegance and opulence. These stencils and masks are going to be so useful! I think this is another great worker card - for various occasions, male and female cards.
Thank you for popping by today, I hope you enjoyed this post and that you'll come visit again soon :)
Hello there and welcome to my blog :) I have finally got around to blogging the last of my Chocolate Baroque samples from the beginning of this year Yaay!! :) These lovely stamps were featured in the debut show on Hochanda. I have used stamps from CB sets Harlequin Rose,Rose Stem Script and Belle Flowers; pearl paint sprays, white embossing powder, gold embossing powder, gold pen.
On a piece of white card I spritzed a couple of pearl sprays and left to dry. Next I stamped the background stamp in Versafine ink and embossed in white. I edged the panel with a gold pen and matted it onto black card.
I stamped a rose image three times onto some more sprayed paper and embossed them in white, then cut them out. I attached the background panel to a white base card, then attached the roses with dimensional glue.
I die cut a tag from the sprayed card and embossed a smaller rose in white onto it. I stamped a sentiment onto acetate and embossed it in gold, cut it out and attached it to the tag. I edged the tag with the gold pen, added Stickles in the corners and some ribbon then attached the tag to the card with dimensional glue.
I die cut some foliage from black card and added it around the roses.
I really love this card, it was one of my favourite samples for this DT call out! I've always been a fan of ink and paint sprays, and these pearl colours are just beautiful. I think the white embossing really makes the stamps pop too! This is another great worker card which could be used for various occasions and for men as well as women.

Hello there and welcome to my blog :) Today I am sharing one of my samples for the recent Chocolate Baroque Spring inspired tv shows. The shows featured a range of beautiful Spring themed stamps, some of which I've used for this card. The stamps are from the Spring Foliage set with a sentiment from the Words to Dazzle and Sparkle set; Brushos, Distress inks, white embossing powder, Stickles.
On a piece of white card I stamped some Bluebells in black ink and masked them. I sprinkled Brushos randomly over the card, spritzed with water and let the colours run.
When the Brushos were dry I stamped some catkins down both sides of the panel and embossed them in white.
I removed the masking fluid and painted the flowers. I added some Stickles to the catkins and the Bluebells, then I blended DI around the edges. I matted the panel onto some coordinating card and added some ribbon to it.
I stamped some foliage around the edges of a white base card with DI, blended the ink around the edges then attached the focal panel to the base card.
I took some buttons from my stash and attached some gems in the centres of them, then added them to the ribbon.
I stamped a sentiment onto white card and embossed it in gold. I die cut it, added DI through the die, and edged the panel with gold pen. I attached the sentiment panel to the card.
I loved creating this card, these stamps are so easy to work with and they produce beautiful results with minimal effort! Spring is a lovely time of year when nature starts to wake up from the long Winter, and I feel this card captures it very well. This would make a great worker card for many occasions.

Hi there and welcome to my blog :) Today I am sharing a touch of the Orient with you. I wanted to christen the third Dragon from my new stamp set, and I thought he had a look of an Oriental Dragon about him. So I decided to create an Oriental garden for him. I have used stamps from the Chocolate Baroque Here Be Dragons, Eastern Grasses, Sticks and Stones and Steampunk Travel sets; Aquatints, Aztec paints, Distress Inks, gilding wax; stencils; die cuts; black Versafine ink, black and gold embossing powders.
On a piece of white card I stamped some rocks, embossed them in black, masked them then repeated several times.
I stamped some grasses and foliage and embossed them.
I then stamped the Dragon and lantern onto black card and embossed them in gold. I painted them with Aztec paints and cut them out.
I created a colour wash for the sky and added some clouds through a stencil. I added some foreground with a green DI, then stencilled some blossom in the top corners with black DI. I removed the masking fluid and painted the images, then I stencilled an Oriental scene in black and blended ink around the edges of the panel.
I die cut a couple of blossom branches and gilded them with gold wax, then attached them to the panel. I attached the Dragon and the lantern in 3D.
I matted the panel onto black card and attached it onto a white base card.
I created this card just to Christen my lovely Dragon stamp, and I'm really pleased with it. I think this design would make a great card for lots of occasions.
