Dainty Dragonfly

This card uses several techniques.  The images on the base cardstock have been stamped and heat embossed, then coloured with glitterpens.  The central background panel has been painted with pearlescent watercolour paints then stamped using white stazon ink, the flowers have been coloured with glitter pens to emphasize detail.  The dragonfly has been stamped onto velum, the flowers coloured and then the image cut out and attached to the card by the body.  The wings and antenna have been folded up slightly to create movement.  A seperate piece of velum  was stamped and heat embossed with the same floral swirl as on the rest of the card. The edges of the velum were torn and attached to the background panel by folding the ends around the back of the panel.
